Vice Chair of Jackson Dem Women's Caucus, also Legislative Ambassador and Public Policy Chair for Jackson Assoc of Retired School Personnel and Jackson AAUW. Member of Delta Kappa Gamma, sorority for teachers keeping busy traveling south as a snow bird and led Recall Rick Snyder effort. Active in Progressive causes, going to Occupy Lansing this Sat Nov 15. Teacher,Choir and Board member of Universalist Unitarian Church of East Liberty. Nominated for Disney American Teacher Award, went to Soccer World Cup in France 1998, Jackson County Democrat of the Year and Unsung Hero Awards, 1997 & 2009. Lots of charity work. President of local EA for 6 yrs. Semiprofessional folksinging. Busy is happy.

Parked Mom's car at a fire hydrant on a day when a fire drill was called, so of course I got a ticket. Very embarrassing, went back to biking to school. Best memories were as a girls' leader, lettered in 4 sports and gained a red S. Field hockey was just wonderful. Also, AP History with Szwaja and Maggie Jones and English with James Snavely. My 91 yr old dad and I still sing the Tom Lehrer songs from the album he shared with us.
