Rick and I were good friends in high school on the Track Team and back in those Friday night  quarter keg get togethers up behind Lake Lucerne, Right before he passed away we had talked about taking a bike ride on the Metro Parks bike trail but I didnt hear from him in planning our rondevous. Thats when I found out that he had suddenly passed away. 

We are going to miss Rick and all the good time we had together at SHHS. God Bless!

Sad to see George pass away! I spent the day with George about a year and half ago when he was passing through Chattanooga with his grand daughter on their Jet Ski's on a rally headed up river towards Knoxville. George and I where never that close during High School, but occasionally I would see him watching Rick Stotter and I on the track team throwing the shotput and discus.

I just learned of his passing today and regret not having spent more time with him since we lived about 70 miles or so apart in Tennessee.

We will miss you Big George! God Bless

Happy Birthday Micki.....It was a pleasure reading your "School Story" and your assorted adventures along the way. Every now and again I find myself attracted to this school website as a way to reminisce on how much fun it was at Shaker. Be that as it may, having attended the 55th with my wife it was a real shocker to find out how many of our classmates are no longer with us. So any opportunity I have to make up for lost time I take advantage of it! Have a great Easter Holiday Micki.........and God Bless you and your family!

Hi Larry, Just a note to tell you that I still have your daughters Photo on my office note board..... A great reminder that there are still those of us that support Israel and the importance of having a great and faithful ally over there in the middle east.

Well another year has passed and it is time to come down the river again at the end of the month. We will have a layover day in Chattanooga again but this time on Monday the 23 rd. Maybe this time I can get you on one of my jet skis and ride down to Hale's bar and back if you can make it. Hope you are still well and able to enjoy life. Photo was from a couple of years ago with my closest friend Mr. Pat Moeller when we we're out on Lake Powell He was 93 then. Sorry to say he passed away last month and I really miss him as we talked several times a week. Big George
